I have been working at hospital radio over 15 years!

 

I present the Saturday night Rock Show, which includes old and new music, a triple play, featured band of the week and track of the week. I also present the second radio show on Sunday evenings called Chart Breakers. This features new releases, future hits, record of the week and blasts from the past, plus new entries in the top 40. I also do my very own weather report.

 

I decided to volunteer when I saw the advert in the local paper. I thought I could combine one of my hobbies with helping to make people stay in hospital more comfortable with music.

 

I worked for over 30 years as a postman, took early retirement and am now a school crossing patrol officer, so still outside meeting people, which I prefer.
